My Mission
I firmly believe that studying literature and writing can evoke a student’s unique voice and introduce them to people and places they may not otherwise get to meet or experience. In analyzing various texts and learning the nuances between different forms of writing, students will be able to eloquently express themselves and come to a greater understanding of our world and its complexities.
My Qualifications
I am a current graduate student at Fairfield University in their MFA in Creative Writing program. I have years of experience with peer editing and I love helping others succeed with their writing!
Tutoring in English
I offer one-on-one tutoring sessions with middle school students entering high school in the fall, current high school students, and current college students. Sessions are conducted over Zoom and consist of whatever the student needs assistance with (review of reading material, assistance with homework assignments, etc.). Sessions are by the hour. Academic Writing Assistance
I offer sessions focused specifically on writing and editing academic essays and papers. Sessions are conducted over Zoom and consist of whatever the student needs assistance with (brainstorming topics/thesis statements, outlining the essay/paper, beginning a draft, editing a draft, putting together a “Works Cited” page, citing sources, etc.) Sessions are by the hour. One paper or essay per session. See below for my rates.
College Essay Assistance
I offer sessions focused specifically on writing and editing college essays. Sessions are conducted over Zoom and consist of whatever the student needs assistance with (brainstorming topics, outlining the essay, beginning a draft, editing a draft, etc.) Sessions are by the hour.
